All About: PIIT28

You’ve read already that Cassey Ho and her Blogilates is one of my favourite fitness gurus. But what about her PIIT28? PIIT28 is the first premium fitness program that I purchased and it’s the advanced version of Blogilates. It is a mix of pilates and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), which promises to help you lose fat, tone, build muscle and improve your posture, all in 28 minutes per day.

 

When you buy the program, you get a very complete kit that you can access online (for life) and download on every device. This kit has the PIIT28 e-book, exercise videos and an Instagram challenge (Piitstagram). The e-book has a full explanation of the principle behind the program, a daily calendar with the scheduled exersises, warmup and cooldowns.  Everyday you are supposed to start with the warm up, do one of the excersise around 4 times (focusing on one body part per day), and end with the specific cooldown. You can choose if you like to follow the workouts with the videos or with the PDF while you watch TV. In total you are given 11 workout videos, 1 warm up video, 3 flexibility videos, plus 2 extra videos for when you finish the first 28 days.

 

So how does it really work? You must commit yourself to the 28 days including rest days. But don’t worry! It is only 28 minutes a day! Although, to be honest, including the warmup and cool down it will take around 40 minutes. The warmup is 5 minutes yoga style and not easy, but it will get your blood pumping! After you have finished the 28 minutes workout, for which you have to follow the day’s video 4 times. Each video is 7 minutes long, with 7 exercises of 45 seconds each and 15 seconds rest. At the end of the 28 days, not only will you have a new strong body, but if you also complete the Piitstagram Challenge, you will get a t-shirt as a trophy! And actually this challenge is one my favourite things about the program! It gets you in contact with a community of other people that is going through the same process as you, and that is actually the reason of why I started taking pictures for instagram and writing about my journey!

 

By the time I started PIIT28 I was very stuck on a bad plateau. I was exercising, eating well and still nothing  would change in my body. Then I decided to take the next step from Blogilates and got the Transformation Pack which is the PIIT28 program together with the 28dayreset (Check the review). I must say at the beginning it was not easy, and the first days were quite harsh, even finding it difficult to finish the 4 rounds. But I was also surprised how fast my body was taking up the challenge! After 1 week or so I was being able to complete the 4 rounds without problem! After the 28 days my body had changed so much! I lost 8 cm and 3 kg! After being stuck on my weight for more than 6 months, those 3kg felt like so much! After this huge success I decided to continue the program in the way that is also suggested, now adding one abs video and if you feel strong enough, one toning day instead of the rest day. After this, the results on my body were even bigger! In total I lost 7 kg and 22 cm!

 

So now, to cut a long story short, I would definitely recomend PIIT28 if you are looking for fat loss and toning. It is a harsh program and it can get repetitive sometimes, but it delivers the results it promises. It will make you sweat and you will get stronger and leaner. So go ahead!
